Soft adventure tour taking you for a ride along the red river and through typical Vietnamese villages on the outskirts of Hanoi. Escaping the noise and busy-ness of the city, we will bike about 25 Km. A fun-filled activity suitable for any age or group size.
8.00: Our guide welcome you in your hotel lobby and transfer 10 minutes by taxi out of Hanoi center, it is nice to see Eiffel bridge, 1902 by the French architect Gustave Eiffel.
8.15: Get the bikes and start biking around 5 Km to the countryside, then understanding about a real meaning “Hanoi”, the city is surrounded by the red river,.
8.40: Get on the local ferry to cross Duong river, just 10 minutes. Greatly know that it’s best way (shortcut) to go for the locals as well as business people doing everyday, then visit the farmer’s house and make friends with nice hosts, we have a good chance to take some nice photos as well as know about rice farming and rural life in Vietnam, know how local people’s lives unfold – from farmers working on their fields and gardens (wet rice cultivation).
10.30: Visit Co Loa “Ancient Citadel”. It is an ancient fortress in what was the first independent capital of the Vietnamese kingdom. Co Loa Citadel is believed to have been constructed in the 3rd century BC. The Chinese conquered it shortly after the building was built. Archaeologists have guessed that, to construct the entire fortress, over two million cubic metres of material were moved, after the sightseeing you will cycling 45 minutes back Hanoi,
12.15: Finally enjoy authentic lunch in the local homestay
13.00: finish your trip in your hotel and say goodbye with friendly tour guide, see you again!
